SYNOPSIS:
In Kenya, a charismatic gangster named Tyso (portrayed by Lenny Kamau) finds himself unexpectedly paired up with a vulnerable woman, Anita (Nancy Kirimi), who is struggling with suicidal thoughts. Over the course of a tense weekend, Tyso’s criminal world collides with Anita’s personal crisis. As he accompanies her through emotional highs and lows, he is confronted with his own hardened heart, the impact of his lifestyle and what genuine compassion might look like. Meanwhile, his associations, loyalties and the dangers of his under-world environment loom large. Forced into caring when he least expects it, Tyso must decide whether he will protect Anita — and maybe protect himself in the process. The weekend becomes a test of survival, redemption, connection and whether one damaged person can help another find a reason to live.
