Description:
Strings are lists of characters. C#, Java and many other languages provide functions or methods to deal with strings – by setting them to uppercase or lowercase, for example. You may also need to find individual characters in a string or add one string onto the end of another one. In this video, I explain common string operations.

I have spent over 40 years programming, teaching other people to program, writing programming books and working as a software developer. In this course, I aim to distil the knowledge that I’ve gained to help you to understand the art and science of computer programming.
