In this episode, I use an example of a History lesson delivered by my colleague and show how by focusing on a particular tense we can effectively differentiate for new to English EAL learners using substitution tables, language-enriched graphic organisers and gap fill activities.
Kamil is an independent EAL Consultant (part-time) based in Hull, where he also works as an EAL Coordinator at a secondary school there.
