Description:
This video provides guidance on how to create coding instructions for Honeywell’s Emergency Locator Transmitters (ELT) using the online tool found on Honeywell’s Aerospace portal (https://aerospace.honeywell.com/).
An ELT must be programmed with a unique identification code to be transmitted in an emergency. An ELT cannot be shipped without a code, and the code must be defined by the customer. Honeywell cannot make any guesses or assumptions on behalf of the customer.
The online coding instruction tool enables you to provide Honeywell with the data required to program your ELT.
NOTE: Honeywell will only use this information to program your ELT. Honeywell will not register your ELT with your local authority or database. It is your responsibility to do so upon receiving the ELT from Honeywell.
