Masha is in love and dreams of marrying her classmate Igor. However, he isn't in a hurry to take her to the altar. In desperation, Masha decides to "spur on" her slow-moving suitor and submits a marriage application with the first man she meets. Igor hopes to win his beloved back, but it seems he's too late. Masha never expected that the relationship, which started as a joke, would soon grow into real feelings. Fate smiles on Igor again when the hated rival suddenly disappears just before the wedding. Now, it seems nothing stands in the way of him and Masha starting a new life together.
That could have been the end of the story if it weren’t for a random photo taken by an unlucky photographer. Several years later, the "ill-fated" picture is destined to turn the lives of the characters upside down.
