We offer this stream as a rogue potentiating machine 24/7, triggering new and deeper connections and realities (sensations, ideas, sounds) against/through the sick, depressing, and homogenizing hyper-commercial world—driven by the globally dystopian, anthropocentric grind culture. We need sounds that make us breathe and taste the freedom we crave. Playfully and arbitrarily, we seize anything at hand that might serve as material for creation, using even the very tools of a blind and violent pyramidal society we never asked for, but repurposing them from within.
XCESS Radio 24/7 offers a unique sonic experience that refuses to be "standard", using the system in its favor. It is an alchemy of music, new ideas, and even “trash”—that which the mainstream rejects—restless danceable beats, and throbbing, ritualistic noise. It is sheer intensity: the aesthetics of Dionysian frenzy.
We believe that artistic creation is not a representation of life; it’s a hammering, a forging of life itself, the play of difference and desire, a becoming-other—the very body of the new, forged through arbitrary creation and chaotic means. The polished, corporate visual style is set aside, welcoming glitch, grunge, and dark-lofi aesthetics. We inhabit a site of brutal and constant transformation that can make us fall into a state of rapture that cannot be normalized/tamed as mainstream culture dictates. WE NEED FREEDOM AND MORE TIME TO ENJOY THAT FREEDOM. The battlefield is everywhere, and this is the fuel we need to feed the fire.
The sound of dust in the machine, granular revolt, and unpolished anti-corporate voltage for a total system override. This stream is a weapon of overload that fuels our desire. We embrace the experience of intensified sound; we welcome chance, the beauty of ugliness, chaos as materia prima, the glitch and its philosophy. This is a feast of system collapse and ecstatic rapture that forces a crack in the horizon with our love and passion.
Escaping the self is mandatory. We have titled this stream "XCESS Radio 24/7" with deliberate intent. We invoke the ancient Greek Dionysian rites of "ekstasis"—literally "standing outside oneself." It is the radical displacement of the mind and body from the regulatory confines of the "normal." Through this madness, we reach a state of "enthousiasmos": a contagious possession by a force far greater than the individual. Satire, the mockery of "normal" life and marketable ways of thinking, the celebration of higher states through noise and intense music that lead to radical transformation—it’s all here.
