I wrote this song some time ago for a friend who had just lost his wife. I wanted to give him something honest, something that could sit with him in the quiet, in the questions, in the weight of grief.
I didn’t know that not too long after releasing it, I would need the same words to carry me too.
This performance was recorded live at my concert in December. In that moment, I was singing it as a comfort to myself and others that needed it.
Grief can be heavy… But God’s love is Heavier!
