ESO’s Extremely Large Telescope, currently under construction in Chile, will be the largest optical/infrared telescope in the world. The light collected by its massive 39 m mirror will be analysed by sophisticated instruments, and in this live event you will learn about two of them: METIS and MICADO. We will screen for the first time two exclusive short movies about these instruments, and experts from each instrument’s team will answer your questions live.
