Matching totals do not prove matching records | OriginChainDB

Published 23, Oct 2026

OriginchainDB

Description:
Dataset A has values 3 and 7; B has 4 and 6. Both contain two records and sum to 10, but keyed comparison reveals that each value changed.

Use count and sum as useful checks, then reconcile the records that matter. A matching summary narrows some errors without proving content identity.

An original illustrated concept lesson from OriginChainDB Console Academy; no live product result is claimed.
